User Access Requirement

Portfolio++ requires users to have an Azure DevOps access level of Basic or higher.

Users with Stakeholder access are restricted in Azure DevOps and cannot access the APIs required for Portfolio++.

Verify or Update a User's Access Level

Administrator permission required

Changing a user's access level requires Azure DevOps Organization Administrator permissions. If you do not have this permission, contact your Azure DevOps administrator to perform these steps.

  1. In Azure DevOps, click the Azure DevOps link in the top left corner.
  2. At the bottom left, click Organization settings.
  3. Under General, select Users.
  4. Search for the user and check the Access Level column.
  5. If the user has Stakeholder access, update their access level:
    • Hover over the user row
    • Click the ⋮ (More options) menu
    • Select Change access level
  6. In the Access level dropdown, choose Basic or a higher level.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Ask the user to refresh (F5) the Portfolio++ page to confirm their updated permissions.
